What It Does
Microdermabrasion uses a diamond-tip wand to gently buff away the outermost layer of dead, dull skin while a light suction lifts it clear. What is left is smoother, softer, and brighter. It is one of the gentler resurfacing treatments we offer, it is FDA-cleared, and it suits most skin types.
It works best on surface concerns: dullness, rough or uneven texture, clogged pores, and mild unevenness in tone. Because it only treats the surface, it is not the answer for deep scars or stretch marks; a series can soften how they look, but it will not erase them, and we would rather tell you that up front.
What to Expect
The treatment feels like a gritty massage with a bit of pull from the suction. Most people find it easy, there is nothing to numb, and you can go straight back to your day. Skin may look a little pink for a short while and often looks brighter right away.
