Hair Removal
Waxing
Clean, precise waxing for the face and body, from brow shaping to legs and Brazilian, with the right wax matched to each area.
What We Wax
We wax the face and body: brows, lip, chin, sideburns, and full face, plus underarms, arms, legs, stomach, chest, back, bikini, and Brazilian. Different areas call for different wax, so we use the gentler hard wax on sensitive spots like the face and bikini and a strip wax on larger areas.
What to Expect
Waxing is quick, and how much you feel depends on the area; sensitive spots sting more, but it passes fast. Expect some redness right afterward that settles within a little while. Results usually last a few weeks, often three to six, and many people find regular waxing leaves the regrowth finer and easier to manage over time.
If you would rather stop shaving and waxing for good, ask us about laser hair removal or electrolysis, the longer-term options.
Before You Come In
A few things make waxing more comfortable and more effective, from how long to let the hair grow to which medications to tell us about. The preparation notes are in the sidebar; please read them before your visit.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does my hair need to be?
About a quarter of an inch, roughly the size of a grain of rice. Let it grow for about two weeks and do not shave beforehand, so there is enough for the wax to grip.
Does waxing make hair grow back thicker?
No. Waxing does not change how your hair grows or its thickness. Over time, regular waxing can actually leave the regrowth looking finer and sparser.
How long do the results last?
Usually a few weeks, often three to six, depending on the area and your own hair cycle. Staying on a regular schedule keeps it easier each time.
Preparing for Your Visit
Let your hair grow to about a quarter of an inch (roughly two weeks); do not shave before your appointment.
Exfoliate gently a day or two before, and keep the skin moisturized in the days leading up.
Skip caffeine, alcohol, and a workout right before your visit; they make skin more sensitive.
If you are sensitive, you can take Advil or Aleve about 45 minutes ahead, but not aspirin.
Tell us if you use Retin-A, Renova, Accutane, AHAs, or other skin or acne medications; some mean we should not wax that area.
